🌿 A little reminder… our Sunday Lunch service starts this Sunday, 12th July! 🌿

If you’ve been meaning to book, now’s the time! We have two sittings available at 12pm and 2pm.

🍽️ 2pm is almost full with just one table of four remaining, so if you’d like that last slot, get in touch as soon as you can.

☀️ Our 12pm sitting still has plenty of availability, making it the perfect excuse for a relaxed Sunday. Join us for lunch, then head out for a countryside stroll or make the most of the lovely weather afterwards.

🍷 Don’t forget, our Sunday Lunch is BYOB, so you’re welcome to bring along your favourite bottle of wine or a few beers to enjoy with your meal. We simply charge **£2 corkage per **table.

This isn’t your average Sunday roast. Expect all the comfort of a traditional Sunday lunch with a Mediterranean twist. Fresh, seasonal ingredients, bold flavours, everything cooked from scratch… and absolutely no shop-bought Yorkshire puddings or soggy cabbage in sight!

We genuinely can’t wait to welcome you all for our very first Sunday Lunch service. It’s something we’ve been so excited to launch, and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do.

📅 Just a reminder that this is a fortnightly event, so there won’t be a Sunday Lunch next weekend. After this Sunday, our next service will be Sunday 26th July.

A small update regarding our Sunday Lunch service… 🤍

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for this little hiccup.

As many of you know, our Sunday Lunch service wasn’t originally part of our opening plans. Because of that we don’t have an alcohol license for Sundays. We will let you know if that changes 🙂

In the meantime, we didn’t want anyone to miss out on enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer alongside their Sunday lunch.

So, for the time being, we’ll be offering a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) service on Sundays only.

Whether it’s your favourite red, a chilled bottle of white, a crisp lager or a celebratory fizz, you’re very welcome to bring it along. We’ll simply charge a £2 corkage fee per table.

Of course, we’ll still have our full range of soft drinks available as usual.

We know that, for many people, a leisurely Sunday lunch just isn’t quite complete without the drink of your choice, and we’d much rather offer this solution than ask you to go without.

This arrangement is for Sundays only. On every other day we’re open, we’ll continue serving from our carefully selected drinks menu, including our wines, beers and draught options as normal.

Thank you so much for your understanding and patience while we get this sorted. We really do appreciate your support, and we’re looking forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a wonderful Sunday lunch service. 🥂🍷

A little later than usual today… we’ll be opening our doors from 4pm. 🍞

The reason? We’ve been flat out baking fresh focaccia for tonight’s diners, and every minute has been worth it. Golden, beautifully bubbly, crisp on the outside, soft and airy in the middle, with that incredible fresh-from-the-oven aroma filling the restaurant. If only Facebook came with smell-o-vision!

Our main menu will be available from 4pm, and we actually have some great availability throughout this evening, with both early and later tables available.

If you’ve been thinking about treating yourself, today might just be the perfect excuse. See you from 4pm! 🤍

🐟 Chef’s Choice Fish Special | Line Caught Red Snapper 🐟

Fresh doesn’t get much fresher than this.

Today’s chef’s choice is a beautiful line caught red snapper, landed individually on the line and delivered in incredible condition. In fact, if you look closely, you’ll even spot the hook still in its mouth… don’t worry, our chefs will be taking care of that long before it reaches your plate! 🎣

And yes… those teeth are quite something. They’re certainly more suited to the fish’s lunch than yours, so we’ll leave the biting to the snapper and the eating to you. 😄

It’s a stunning fish with wonderfully delicate, sweet flesh, and it’s only available while today’s catch lasts.

✨ Introducing Sunday Lunch at The Copper Fish. ✨

The wait is over…

We’re delighted to introduce a brand new dining experience, launching on Sunday 12th July.

Taking everything you love about a traditional Sunday lunch and giving it the unmistakable Copper Fish touch, our new menu brings together beautiful Mediterranean-inspired flavours, carefully sourced ingredients and comforting classics. Because however creative we get, we all know one thing… a Sunday lunch simply isn’t complete without a Yorkshire pudding. ❤️

This isn’t something you’ll find every week. For the time being, Sunday Lunch at The Copper Fish will be offered once every fortnight, and we’re launching it on a trial basis. We think it’s something really special, and we can’t wait to see what you think.

There will be just two sittings available for each Sunday Lunch:
🕛 12:00pm
🕑 2:00pm

With limited availability and only one Sunday lunch every two weeks, pre-booking is essential, and we’d strongly recommend reserving your table sooner rather than later.

Our very first Sunday Lunch will be served on Sunday 12th July, and the full menu can be found below.

Whether you’re gathering with family, catching up with friends or simply treating yourself to an exceptional Sunday meal, we’d love to welcome you.

While I’m busy putting the finishing touches to something rather exciting for later today… 👀

I thought I’d jump on with a little update.

Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who bore with us during last week’s phone issues. We know it was frustrating, and we really appreciate your patience while we got everything sorted.

The good news is… the phone is now working perfectly again! 📞

I’m currently sat with the diary by my side (yes, we’re still wonderfully old school with our trusty pen-and-paper reservation book!) and we’re looking ahead to the weekend. At the moment we’ve got some lovely availability across the weekend, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s a great time to get in touch while we can still offer you the table and time you’d really like.

We’ve been a little quieter than usual at the start of this week… but for very good reason. 👀

Behind the scenes we’ve been working on something we’re ridiculously excited to share with you.

We’re already one table down for opening because I’ll definitely be sat at it. 😅

We’re really sorry… 💛

We’re aware that our phone line isn’t working at the moment, and unfortunately when you try to call us it’s telling people that the phone is switched off, without even giving you the option to leave a voicemail.

The slightly maddening part? The phone definitely isn’t switched off. It’s switched on, it’s fully charged, and it’s currently sitting in my hand looking as confused about the situation as I am.

We were only made aware of the issue at around 11pm last night, so we’ve not had much time to investigate what’s causing it. We’re working to get it resolved as quickly as possible, but at the moment we still don’t know exactly what’s gone wrong.

If you’ve tried to contact us recently, particularly yesterday, and couldn’t get through, I’m genuinely so sorry. We know it’s frustrating for you, and trust me, it’s incredibly frustrating for us too. We never want anyone to feel ignored when they’re trying to get in touch.

In the meantime, please send us a message through our page by clicking the Message button. I’ve got the phone in my hand all day and I’ll be keeping a close eye on the inbox, so that’s currently the quickest way to reach us.

If, for whatever reason, Messenger decides to have a day off too, just leave a comment on this post and I’ll find a way to get in touch with you.

Worst case scenario… we’ll start accepting bookings via smoke signals. I’m not entirely sure how practical that is, but at this point I’m willing to consider all options. 😅

🫒 Rare Saturday night incoming!! 🫒

Our early sitting is almost completely full, with just one table remaining between 5pm and 6pm. After that, however, something rather unusual has happened… with England playing tonight, we’ve found ourselves with a little more availability later in the evening than we normally would.

If you’ve been hoping to experience The Copper Fish on a Saturday without needing to book weeks in advance, tonight is the perfect opportunity.

The temperature has eased, the kitchen will be doing what it does best, the cocktails will be flowing, and it’s set to be one of those beautiful summer evenings that calls for good food, great company, and a little taste of the Mediterranean.

A quick apology as well. If you’ve tried calling us over the last day or so, you may have noticed our phone line isn’t behaving itself. We’re working to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible, but in the meantime, please send us a Facebook message for all bookings and enquiries, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

If you’d like our final early evening table between 5pm and 6pm, or you’re thinking of joining us a little later this evening, just drop us a message and we’ll take care of the rest.

Do comments like this make working in a 45°C kitchen worth it?

Yes. Every single time. ❤️

Yesterday was a proper workout behind the scenes, and today looks set to be just as toasty. There may have been a few melting members of staff, plenty of ice water, and more than one person questioning their life choices… but then we read comments like this.

Knowing our guests leave having enjoyed an evening they’ll remember makes every degree worthwhile.

Thank you for every kind word, every recommendation and every review. We genuinely read every single one, and they mean far more to us than you probably realise. They’re a reminder that all the care, the attention to detail and the heat of the kitchen are worth it.

We’ll keep the kitchen hot… even if we’d rather it wasn’t quite this hot. 🔥
