We are hiring a Cook/Kitchen lead 🌟

We are a vibrant, independent licensed coffee house known for exceptional specialty coffee, fresh food, and a warm atmosphere. We serve everything from artisan breakfasts and brunch classics to creative lunches, local beers, and wine. We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our small, friendly kitchen team and help us elevate our food menu. You will take charge of our daytime food offering, preparing fresh dishes to order in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a cook who wants creative input, as we welcome ideas for daily specials and seasonal menu updates.

You will prepare and cook menu items to high standards. Manage food prep and stock control efficiently. Design daily specials using seasonal, local ingredients. Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant. Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service.

We Are Looking For proven experience cooking in a cafe, bistro, or restaurant. Speed and efficiency during busy breakfast and lunch rushes. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred). Strong understanding of allergen control and safety. Reliable team player with a positive, flexible attitude. Passion for fresh food and eye-catching presentation.

We offer great daytime hours with no late-night shifts. Staff discount for you and your friends/family off-duty. Staff lunch and drinks. Creative freedom to influence our seasonal menus.
