Lovely sunny weekend with customers enjoying the garden, enhanced by Compton's Warbirds intermittently buzzing over. Andy discovered this wee note when clearing the table. Karalyne Hyde can take credit for the flapjacks but it's amazing how a few words can go such a long way 🙏

Honoured to have just hosted a regular's family gathering in honour of his father Vernon. He lived to a ripe old age and trust his family will too. Rest in peace sir 🫡 Less people are having funerals these days but it's good to mark these occasions and to get together with your nearest and dearest.

Currently enjoying BBC Winterwatch and the lovely scenery I was enjoying almost a year ago in beautiful Co Down. We're so blessed to live in our own scenic Cranborne Chase. I'll be spending Tuesday at the Annual Forum where its future will be discussed - if you have any thoughts on what the priorities should be let me know.
