Myself and my wife took over management of the Crown Inn on the 2nd April 2016. Since then we have worked tirelessly to create a hub for Selsey's residents and visitors, where everybody is welcome, whether you have two legs or four. ☀️ A LITTLE SUNDAY ROAST UPDATE ☀️

With two of our biggest summer weekends back-to-back, our Sunday roasts will be taking a short break for the next two weeks.

🌴 Sunday 9 August – Rum & Reggae takes over The Crown, complete with incredible live music, reggae-inspired food and tropical cocktails.

🎉 Sunday 16 August – the morning after our huge Noughtie 90s Festival, when our team and kitchen will be recovering from one of the busiest days of our year!

We will still be serving our normal menu and a selection of specials on both Sundays, so there will still be plenty of delicious food available — it is only our traditional roast dinners that are taking a short break.

With the hot weather also making roast dinners a little less popular at the moment, it makes sense to focus our time and energy on delivering the best possible experience across both weekends.

Our Sunday roasts will be back, rested and ready, on Sunday 23 August. 💛

Thank you, as always, for understanding and supporting everything we do. We have two absolutely brilliant weekends ahead of us, and we cannot wait to enjoy them with you!

These lads are not only fantastic musicians, they’re genuinely brilliant people too, and every single time they play The Crown they absolutely tear the roof off (figuratively… thankfully it’s an outdoor stage! 😅).

If you love huge rock, indie and Britpop anthems from bands like Oasis, Stereophonics, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and loads more, this is one you simply shouldn’t miss.

They’re one of our favourite local bands for a reason, and we’re incredibly proud to have them back on our Garden Stage. Expect an electric atmosphere, packed garden, cold drinks and an unforgettable night of live music.
