You didn’t think the Duck was only going to waddle out once, did you?

After our first trip into the wonderfully ridiculous world of The Disco Duck Club, it’s time to dust off the flares, find the most outrageous hat you can get your hands on and do it all over again.

The whole idea is simple: proper feel-good disco, absolutely zero pretence and a room full of people who have come to dance. 🕺💃

Expect a soundtrack packed with the music that made the dancefloor king — 70s & 80s disco, funk, soul and those huge singalong floor-fillers that are physically impossible to stand still to.

But for Return of the Quack, we wanted to take it up another level…

And trust us when we say, Stephanie is absolutely incredible.

And there’s another very welcome return this Sunday… OUR SUNDAY ROASTS ARE BACK! 😍🍽️

After a couple of weeks off while we tackled two of our biggest summer weekends, the roasties are back in the oven, the Yorkshires are rising and the gravy boats are ready.

Think proper roast meats, golden Maris Piper roast potatoes, seasonal veg, homemade stuffing, big fluffy Yorkshire puddings and plenty of our homemade gravy. ❤️

Then from 3pm, Sarah Saville takes to the Garden Stage for a relaxed afternoon of live acoustic music — so you can settle in for a proper Sunday lunch, a few drinks and some chilled live music in the garden.

That sounds like a pretty good Sunday to us. ☀️🍻🎶

We’re incredibly lucky to be able to bring acts of this standard to Selsey and keep these events completely FREE to attend. Thank you, as always, to everyone who comes along, supports the artists, supports our team and helps us keep live music thriving at The Crown. ❤️

Still trying to take it all in… ❤️

Before the official footage lands, we wanted to share a little glimpse of what Saturday felt like from our side.

500 ravers. An unbelievable line-up. One garden. One massive moment for us.

To every single artist who stepped onto that stage and gave us everything — thank you. You didn’t just perform, you became part of something incredibly special to us.

To every raver who bought a ticket, turned up, sang, danced, laughed and brought nothing but good energy — thank you. Watching that garden absolutely bouncing from start to finish is something we’ll never forget.

And to our Selsey community… this one is especially for you. ❤️

We know events like this are big. We know they take over our little corner of Selsey for a day. And we never take for granted the fact that our community continues to support us, back our slightly crazy ideas and allow us to keep bringing things like this to our town.

We’re just an independent family-run pub with a big garden, an incredible team and an even bigger belief that Selsey deserves brilliant live entertainment.

Saturday felt euphoric.

For a few hours it genuinely felt like nothing else mattered. Just music, sunshine, smiling faces and hundreds of people absolutely living in the moment together.

That is exactly why we do it.

So from every single one of us at The Crown…

FESTIVAL? WHAT FESTIVAL? 😅🙌

Yesterday, this garden was absolutely packed with around 500 of you for Noughtie 90s… and this morning you’d barely know anything had happened.

And that is entirely down to our incredible team. ❤️

We genuinely cannot thank them enough.

The amount of work that goes into an event like yesterday is enormous. From building it, setting it all up and getting everything ready beforehand, to serving hundreds of people throughout one of the busiest days we’ve ever had… and then, when everyone else had gone home, clearing it all away and resetting the entire pub and garden ready to open again today.

No drama. No fuss. Just everyone getting stuck in and looking after each other.

We’re incredibly lucky to have the team that we do, and days like yesterday make us appreciate that more than ever.

So whilst there are plenty of people we need to thank for making Noughtie 90s such a massive success, today this one is for our staff.

Thank you for the ridiculously long hours, the hard work, the smiles, the teamwork and for somehow making something so huge look effortless. We genuinely couldn’t do any of this without you. ❤️

And somehow… we’re straight back at it today! 😂

The garden is reset, the drinks are cold, the kitchen is open and the amazing Eva Nicole will be joining us from 3pm today for a chilled acoustic set. 🎶☀️

After yesterday’s madness, a few drinks, some good food and chilled live music in the garden sounds just about perfect.
