Three Hares is returning!

We can’t wait, it’s been too long. The place where Nina & James’ Sedbergh journey began is set to return.

This time from a new venue, but the same coffee, baking & vibes.

Important post…

Unfortunately Three Hares will not be reopening again this year. We have made the difficult decision to close. The increased costs to run, and energy needed to keep it going just don’t work out anymore. It’s not been easy as it’s the place we started our journey in Sedbergh. We achieved a lot in a very small place and it has a lot of memories for us.

However you will still be able to catch us The Black Bull] where we may even one day find another space. The coffee, cakes, team and love of what we do is just the same. It will give us chance to focus what we do The Black Bull] so please follow us here if you don’t already. Still lots to come from me, Nina and the team and we look forward to what 2023 has to bring.

We are looking for a Manager for our busy little deli & bakery.

An individual who is simply passionate about sustainable, quality food and drink.

The shop is packed with homemade produce from award winning chef Nina Matsunaga and her team, as well as artisan food producers, local coffee and independent wine and beer producers.

The role will include customer service, development of the shop and brand, cashing up, and customer recommendations.

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday 9-5.30

Salary up to £25k
Bonus opportunity available.
