It is with great sorrow that we announce that Pebbles Coffee House has closed its doors permanently as of 20th April 2026.
After nearly 11 wonderful years, this hasn’t been an easy decision. However due to continued and significant rise in costs - including staff wages, cost of goods, business rates, rent, maintenance and VAT - it has sadly become impossible for us to continue.

So we (James and Carly) would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our incredible staff and loyal customers,

Your support over the years has meant everything to us, it has truly been a privilege to serve our community.

Seaton is so fortunate to have a wealth of groups, clubs, support and help available to people, yet it’s easy to miss what’s going on.

Restore has been working on how best to get information out to people in the community who may need help. The idea of having a central community centre has been floated and although this maybe a good long-term goal we wonder if there’s a more organic model which is simpler and sustainable

We would like to see if we can find local businesses, organisations or shops where we can give some simple training and a handful of our latest community booklet (with all local services in it) and the high street becomes the help. Each day will have assigned places where someone could drop in, this allows people to access help everyday whilst also meeting someone in the community who knows it best. The days would be split into mornings (10am-12) and afternoons (2-4pm) with someone taking one of those slots per week and keep the same pattern each week.

We’re looking for 10 - 12 people/places who would be interested in being involved and helping for 2 hours per week whilst they work, ideally they need to have a space which is open to the public and be good with people.
