Newhaven & Seaford Sailing Club Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club Ltd is registered in England and is limited by guarantee. Registered no 1290424

Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club was formed in 1952 by a group of enthusiasts who sailed from Newhaven and later from the beach near the old Buckle Inn at Seaford. Later the Club obtained the rights to sail on Piddinghoe Pond some 5 miles away. Subsequently the present clubhouse on the beach was built and the freehold to the Pond acquired. The Club has an average membership of about 450. The Club regularly has 6 fleets: Laser 1s, Dart 18s, Squibs, Toppers, Optimists and a handicap fleet. Racing takes place on Sundays throughout the year (on the sea in Summer and on the Pond during the Winter months); a series is also run on Wednesday evenings during the Summer months. The Club hosts open meetings during the year, has a regatta during August each year and holds a cadet week (open). Newhaven and Seaford Sailing club is not far from Brighton, Lewes and Eastbourne.

This Friday we are very privileged to have one of our members giving a talk on how they became involved in driving an ex-NHS Ambulance all the way to the front line in Ukraine, and how they have subsequently helped raise money for (and delivered) convoys of combat medical vehicles and aid.

This fascinating talk will take place at the Seaford clubhouse this Friday 16th October from 19:00. ๐—”๐—Ÿ๐—Ÿ ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—˜ ๐—ช๐—˜๐—Ÿ๐—–๐—ข๐— ๐—˜!

Food is available to order from The Galley Seaford - last food orders by 18:30.
