Water leak update.
Work seems to be progressing.
The guys were on site at around 11pm last night, (that was when I spotted them out my window). Temp. lights up, replacement pipework delivered. Bus stop outside the chippy not in use unfortunately but there is one further up.
Myself and Vaughn from across the road were speaking with the Yorkshire Water Guy yesterday afternoon.
The pipe that is leaking is not domestic water supply, it supplies Keadby water tower and the Power Station. This is what has caused the repair delay as there are a lot more permissions and organisation to it, e.g. the water tower has to be full before the supply is switched off at both ends and pumps need to be off aswell. Also the power station needs to sort whatever they need too. Hell of a lot more to it as well but that's totally above my head. 😵‍💫🤯

As Yorkshire Water haven't manged to make it to Keadby Chippy's water feature as yet, I've contacted Nth Lincs Council Highways Dept and invited them to the party as well. I sent pictures and the lady was audibly shocked. She has put it as emergency.

Water Leak outside the WJ& T McDonald Fish&Chip Shop.
Spoke with Yorkshire Water this morning, the leak will be attended to today (Wednesday 5th) so Water will be turned off. A crew will return tomorrow to patch up.
The chippy will be open as usual at dinner time today. Please be careful as there is significant standing water, and water running down the chippy's parking area to the drain.
