Good afternoon all,

My apologies on being quiet this past week or so...

But I'm back and what a way to start the week..

A nice 13 hour shift complete. 🙃 yessss 13 hours I've been cooking since 1am 💪💪

But I'm happy because today we did our first buffet 😋

Along with our day to day business and tasks 😅

But the days not over.. quick nip in to see the pooches 🐶🐶before heading back out to the supermarket for a couple of essentials for the coming week.

Anyhow, I always find myself rambling on 🤣 so here's some photos and a little video of our buffet 😋

I hope everyone has a lovely evening, I'll be in bed by 6pm sharp 🤣🤣

Morning! Happy June 1st 🙃

This year's flying by, summer will be here before we know it 🌞🔥

Lots of prep done, just need to chop the slaw and salad.

The quiche is cooking nicely in the oven (ham, smoked cheese, and onion chutney).

Soup's cooked and chilling, it's leek and potato 😋

I've managed to bake a raspberry ripple cake so far.

Lemon cake, red velvet & scones are next.

Before I know it, it'll be time for the bacon to go in the oven, and a quick supermarket sweep without the commentary 🤣 though I do talk to myself while shopping, so I guess I am the commentary 🤣

It's looking like its going to be another beautiful day here in Scarborough 🌞 yaaay!

Blah blah, I'm rambling on as usual. Haha.

Morning, my lovelies!

Up nice and early this morning, lol!

I've got a cake order to finish up and get ready to send out this morning, plus a bunch of prep all prepared for the day ahead.

A quick trip to the supermarket 🙃

Chilli is cooking away nicely, scones are in the oven and smelling delicious 😋

The urns at temp 🔥Time to have a cheeky 5 mins and a nice cuppa tea before the doors swing open at 7am ❤️

Wow, what a morning. Note to self. Do not sleep through your alarm 🤣🤣🤣

Anyhow I've been as busy as ever prepping and getting everything ready for the day ahead 😀

Fresh cheese and tomato quiche made she's still steaming hot 🌞

Scones will be entering the oven in the next ten mins, so they will be lovely and fresh ready for our lunch time rush.

Unfortunately I've made a booboo and today we do not have any chilli available 😭

Good morning, everyone! ☀️ I hope the sunshine sticks around a little longer; wouldn't that be lovely? It's a balmy 19° at 3.30a.m., so perhaps another week of great weather is on the cards! 🤞

In other news, we're busy whipping up some delicious treats:

**Cakes:**
* Victoria sponge
* Chocolate cake
* Cherry loaf cake
* Jam and coconut sponge

**Freshly baked:**
* Fruit scones
* Cheese scones

**Quiche of the week:**
* Cheese and tomato

**Soup of the week:**
* Broccoli and Stilton

Open 7am - 2pm

It's nice and cool in the vaults with 30 seats available inside 😀

Don't forget you can enjoy your food and drinks outdoors in the sunshine.

We can seat upto 10 people outside, space can be limited.

Just a polite reminder regarding our kitchen and takeaway areas.

As we are a food establishment, only staff members are permitted in the kitchen area.

Please could everyone be mindful of keeping the entrance and exit clear at all times, as we operate a one-way system through the doors.

We are more than happy to serve you through the serving hatch or directly at your table to make your visit as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

Please also avoid opening the takeaway door if it is closed, as these are heavy doors and staff can easily be injured while working.

The doors are often kept closed for operational reasons, including access to equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Once we have completed said tasks I reopen the doors.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Myself and kayls both work under a lot of pressure to provide a quick, efficient, and friendly service for everyone, and your support really helps us do that. 😉
