Chef / Cook / Kitchen Assistant Job!

We are still looking for a new team member to join us at Chameleon Cafe & Restaurant.

We are now a Smokehouse and Restaurant as opposed to just a day tine Cafe with new menus coming in so some exciting new things to play with as a chef!

MUST have experience! MUST be able to work under pressure, and work as part of a team in a modern, fun and dynamic kitchen!

Food hygiene knowledge and actually sticking to high standards is a must. Don't apply if you can't be bothered with this stuff!

Full training will be given, but would be great if you can bring something to the table too! Show us what you can do!?

🌞 New Summer Opening Hours 🌞

We are now open from Tuesday to Saturday all day 9am to 8.30pm without closing.

The full Chameleon and Get Smashed menus are available all day and evening!

There is a complete new menu coming very soon but we are implementing things in stages because it's big changes for our staff in all aspects so we want to do it in a way that we can still bring the best service and quality of food.

Our Full New Opening hours are..

Monday - 9am - 3pm
Tuesaday - 9am - 8.30pm
Wednesday - 9am - 8.30pm
Thursday - 9am - 8.30pm
Friday - 9am - 8.30pm
Saturday - 9am - 8.30pm
Sunday 9am - 3pm

What's this then.. something completely new coming to Chameleon Cafe & Restaurant!

We are turning into a Smokehouse and Grill very soon!

We now have a Smoker and we are playing around smoking literally anything and everything!

But expect to see lots ot Smoked Meat like big fat JUICY American style Smoked Brisket, Ribs, Sausages, Fish etc...

Job Available!

We are looking for Front of House staff at Chameleon Cafe & Restaurant and Gecko at Quayside Bar.

Working on a Coffee Machine is a big part of the role so barista experience is essential but we will give further training if needed.

Cocktails are also a big thing we do but full training can be given on that!

Good customer service, working under pressure in a busy cafe, good personal hygiene, reliable and politeness are all essential too!

Part time and full time positions available. Must be able to work Weekends and some Evenings too.
