Annual restrictions for dogs on sections of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby beaches have come to an end.

The restrictions were in place between 1 May and 30 September.

Unfortunately due to unexpected work on a local water main we won’t be open today 🤷🏻‍♂️😭
We’re also closed tomorrow (Thursday 1 October) due to a hospital appointment.

For local residents Scarborough Castle will offer FREE entry this coming weekend 🏰
Conveniently for visitors to the Castle we are situated at the foot of the Castle Hill on Sandside !

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, Scarborough Castle will be FREE for Scarborough Town residents (YO11, YO12 and YO13 postcodes)

🤩 enjoy the 16 acre headland and over 3,000 years of history 🏰

Tonight Goldwings Parade..

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday 12 September, is the Goldwings Event.
All the fabulous motorcycles will be available to view during the day as a static display and then on the evening there will be the cruise around the seafront, a great event for all the family. Following the cruise there will be a Drone Display to replace the fireworks starting approximately 9:15pm, optimal viewing will be along Sandside- which is handy for you should you wish to pop in for some Traditional Fish and Chips…

EDIT: it’s just come to my attention that a “sneak preview” of some of the bikes is taking place tonight outside Ask Italian restaurant around 7pm.
We shan’t be open at that time as I shall be in the pub hopefully 🤞🏻 🍺
