🎤 HOLLY JOHNSON FANS...WELCOME TO THE HIDEOUT!

We’re geared up for a big one before tonight’s show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

A few things to know:

🍔 Our reduced, quick-service Open Air Theatre menu kicks in from 3pm. Check it out on our website.

🕓 Bookings are switched off between 4pm and 6pm.

☀️ Our outside tables stay unreserved and are available first come, first served.

And a little housekeeping: please don’t take the p**s, grab fish and chips elsewhere and use our seating area. Our tables are for Hideout customers, and anyone bringing food from elsewhere will be kindly asked to leave. Fair’s fair.

Come hungry, grab a drink and get your night started properly.

Relax… we’ve got the pre-show sorted. 😉

Scissor Sisters take over Scarborough Open Air Theatre tonight✂️🎶

We’re delighted to welcome fans for pre-gig food, drinks and good times at The Hideout.

Due to huge demand, we’ve now turned off booking requests between 4pm and 7pm today. Still fancy joining us? Our outside seating remains unreserved and is available on a first come, first served basis.

From 3pm, we’ll be serving our reduced Open Air Theatre menu. It’s designed to keep service quick and efficient, getting everyone fed, watered and off to the show in plenty of time.

🚨 A FAVOUR, PLEASE! 🔊

Our trusty old amp at The Hideout has decided that Friday afternoon is the perfect time to give up the ghost… meaning, for now, we’ve got no tunes! 😭🎶

We’re desperately trying to get ourselves back up and running. Does anyone locally have a suitable 4-channel / 4-zone amplifier we could borrow, hire or buy, or know somebody in the audio/PA trade who might be able to help us out at short notice?

We need roughly 4 x 120W, low impedance (4Ω). Our current system is a Cloud 46-120.

🙏 Any help, contacts or even a share would be massively appreciated.

Because a busy Hideout without music is just bloody weird. 😂🍔🎶

Our faith in humanity has gone up a notch this morning. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, we sadly had one of our much-loved bears stolen from The Hideout. Today, Rob walked through the door and very kindly donated this brilliant porcelain Only Fools and Horses Reliant Robin to add to our little collection of memorabilia. 🥹

A nice reminder that the vast majority of people are thoughtful, caring and genuinely kind. Rob being an excellent example of exactly that.

Thank you, Rob. It’s found a very good home. 💛

🇺🇸 Great to have our friends back!

Tonight we welcomed Aggies FC back to The Hideout, all the way from the USA, alongside their coaches from The i2i International Soccer Academy. ⚽

This is the fourth year we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming the group to Scarborough, and while it’s always a mad 90 minutes, it’s become one of those dates we genuinely look forward to every summer.

Thanks for choosing to spend part of your UK tour with us once again. Safe travels, enjoy the rest of your trip, and we’ll see you all again next year! ❤️🤍💙
