Tuesday Open Mic Update

Hi everyone, Ash here (from The Village Inn)👋

As many of you know, Julie is taking some time away from Open Mic while she focuses on her treatment and recovery.

While she's away, I'll be stepping in to host Tuesday nights and keep things running until she's ready to return. (Restarting Tues 30th June due to the England Match next week).

It's really important to me that the amazing Open Mic Julie has built over the years continues. Through her hard work, passion and dedication, she's created something genuinely special – a night that brings people together every week, supports local talent, and gives performers a welcoming place to share what they love.

This will remain Julie's Open Mic Night. Nothing is changing there. I'm simply looking after things for her and keeping the music flowing until she's ready to come back.

🎤 If you'd like to book a performance slot, please message this page directly. Julie is taking a break from organising the night, so I’ll handle bookings through this Facebook for the time being. (If you're not a Facebook person, come along on a Tuesday and grab my number from me, and we can sort future bookings that way).

Thank you all for your continued support of the night, of live music, and most importantly of Julie. We can't wait to see her back behind the microphone when she's ready. ❤️🎤

For years, Julie has been a huge part of Tuesday nights at The Village Inn, turning them into something far more than just an Open Mic night.

Those Tuesday nights will be taking a little pause while Julie focuses on her treatment.

We're sure you'll all join us in sending Julie lots of love and support over the coming months. She'll be hugely missed, but this stage isn't getting rid of her that easily.

We'll be saving up one hell of a party for when she's back. ❤️🎤

Dear all, it’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that I have to step down from working for a few months whilst I undergo treatment for cancer. Tuesdays were the highlight of my week and I will miss you all dearly. I will be back! Watch this space x🩷x
