Nearly 10 years at South Sands ❤️

After an incredible nearly 10 years with us, the time has come to say goodbye to Johnny.

A decade is a long time — filled with countless guests, busy services, special occasions, laughter, challenges and so many memories along the way.

Johnny has been a much-loved part of our team and a familiar face to so many of our guests. We’re incredibly grateful for all the hard work, dedication and good times he has brought to South Sands over the years.

Thank you for everything, Johnny. ❤️

We’ll miss having you around, but we’re excited to see what the next chapter brings for you.

A remarkable natural phenomenon is happening tomorrow evening!

If you are in the South West, you have the chance to have one of the best seats in the country for the 96% partial solar eclipse visible across South Devon.

Starts: Around 6:20pm
Maximum Eclipse: Around 7:12pm
Ends: Around 8:10pm
(These times will vary depending on where you are.)

Make sure you have certified ISO 12312-2 eclipse glasses, please remember never to look at the sun directly without them. Ordinary glasses and sunglasses are not safe.
