Wowee what a week 🙌🌞🍦 Never known the weather to be so good for May half term!

Personally, one of my favourite parts of the job is seeing regulars who return year-on-year. From the kids who recognise me from the previous season, give me the biggest smiles and who get more and more confident to talk to me, to the slightly surprised faces when I remember your order and favourite flavours. Whilst it’s super duper hard work during these long, busy, hot days, it’s always so lovely to see you all and I feel very lucky to be able to scoop for you.

So just wanted to send the biggest most heartfelt ✨THANK YOU✨ to everyone who visited the little blue van. Times really are tough for independent businesses right now and there is only one Enid’s Ices, so thank you for choosing to come and see us ~ we really do appreciate every single scoop 💙

April scenes 🍦🌞🩵🌷🌊

The first few weeks of the season have been lush ~ lots of you visiting the little blue van for your ‘first Enid’s’ of the year, some proper sunshine, some hellish winds, the first *nice* sea dips of the year (*we go in all year round but it’s finally at the point where it doesn’t hurt to get in 😅), and plenty of ice creams ofc. Huge thanks as always for the support, we appreciate every single scoop 🫶

So this job was a big pressure washing one of patios and stairs etc for my repeat clients who always keep on top of their maintenance 🧑‍🔧 at The St Enodoc Hotel
🏨 for The Ainsworth Collection, and here Ive roped in my friend, the lovely Rhea 💙of Enid's Ices fame for a few factoids about herself, here goes, deep breath, my favourite is the last one 1️⃣, ill stop talking now and get on with them 😆, she accidentally entered a triathlon in New Zealand 🇳🇿 by cycling 🚴‍♀️ on her normal route to work, she came across some bollards and just ignored them because she didn't know any other way of going, next thing she knows there are people clapping 👏 and cheering her on from the side of the road and other cyclists whizzing passed her in Lycra, she was totally motivated to get to work from that 😆, she sang on stage with The Wurzels at her Aunties Wedding 💒, when she was 15 she scored three goals against the Barbados 🇧🇧 National Netball Team, because the other minor team hadn't turned up, they got whooped 86-3 but like she says, those goals still count 😁, she used to be a journalist for Gasworld Magazine and knows more about Industrial 🏭 Gas than she thought she would, she ate llama 🦙 tikka masala in Peru 🇵🇪, she likes to tell everyone she was named after Zeus's Mother from Greek Mythology, but in reality she was named after Danny De Vito's wife Rhea Perlman because her Mum was pregnant with her and saw the name in the credits while watching Cheers 😆😆, and finally I know why her business is called Enids Ices, but can't tell you, you will have to go down for an ice cream 🍦 and find out 👍, thanks for these Rhea... 👏👍🚿🚿💎💎
