The Hollington Oak is looking for an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team — with an immediate start available for the right person! 🙌

You absolutely do not need to arrive as Gordon Ramsay. In fact, probably best you don’t…we’ve got enough colourful language around here already. 😂

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and happy to get stuck in. You’ll gain real hands-on experience in a working pub kitchen, learning food preparation, kitchen processes, food safety and how to keep everything running smoothly, while working towards your qualification.

The kitchen at The Hollington Oak is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, passionate and reliable Cook to join our team! 🌳🍽️

We’re not just looking for someone who can cook — we want someone who takes pride in their kitchen, their standards and every plate that leaves the pass.

⭐ What we’re looking for:
• Minimum Level 2 Food Production & Cooking or similar City & Guilds qualification — Level 3 preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
• Experience with stock management, internal & external audits, NSF and EHO
• Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, COSHH and Health & Safety
• Confident following company specifications and maintaining consistently high standards
• Organised, reliable and able to keep calm when the kitchen gets busy
• Most importantly — a genuine passion for producing great pub food! ❤️
