⚓ Proper Job at the Pilchard Press TONIGHT! ⚓

Tonight we’re welcoming Proper Job, a new sea shanty group made up of local singers, for their first night at the Press.

Come and give them a proper St Ives welcome 🤗 a few pints, a few shanties and hopefully plenty of voices joining in. 🍻🎶

Tonight from 8pm

Just another night at the Pilchard Press… 🍻

A packed little pub, a few pints, old friends, new friends, plenty of laughter and apparently quite a lot of posing for the camera.

This is what the Press is all about.
Thanks to everyone who makes this tiny place what it is.

See you at the bar.

A proper evening at the Pilchard Press.

Full house, barrels flowing, plenty of laughs and barely a spare seat to be found.

From Firebrand High Note and Patchwork Rocket to St Ives Slipway, Atlantic Mandarin and Penzance Lamorna Gold; a few good reasons to squeeze in at the bar.

But as ever, the best part is the people.

Another evening at the Pilchard Press 🍺🐾

Good b**r, good people, a few familiar faces and a few new ones, plus some very important four-legged customers.

Hella and Treen’s Mariner flowing nicely, conversation flowing even better.

Just another night in St Ives’ little underground drinking hole.

What a brilliant night with Cork an Barbor! 🍻

A packed Pilchard Press, plenty of singing, plenty of laughter and perhaps one or two pints along the way.

A huge thank you to Cork an Barbor for a cracking evening and to everyone who squeezed in and joined the fun.

This is what the Pilchard Press is all about.

A quiet little evening at Pilchard Press… apparently. 🍺

Full bar, full glasses, plenty of nonsense and another night down the passage.

No screens. No music. No fuss.
Just proper b**r and people talking to each other.

Pilchard Press: like pubs used to be.

St Ives outside. Pilchard Press inside. 🍻

While the harbour does its summer thing, we’re tucked away with proper ales, a few hands of cards, plenty of conversation and absolutely no rush.

Come down the passage, find a chair and stay for one more.

Pilchard Press, like pubs used to be.

Our special glasses for NOT watching the eclipse. 🌘🍺

Much safer to keep your eyes firmly on the b**r 🙌🏻

Pilchard Press 🍺 looking after your eyesight, one pint at a time. 👀🍻
