Dear all,

The Beachcomber Cafe is no more I’m sorry to say. After eighteen years I think I’ve earned a rest from catering and I’ve recently sold the business.

The new owners are The Tea Room St Ives Ltd and they are currently refurbishing the cafe ready for reopening in early May this year. They are an experienced and professional group of people and I’m sure will do a good job.

Thank you to everyone who has visited the Beachcomber over the many many years I’ve been there and I hope you continue to enjoy the cafe again in its new refreshed format.

Hi guys - what a difficult year!

Please note that we do not take table bookings and for the time being we cannot open the kitchen because of serious staff shortages.

We will continue with hot and cold drinks and cream teas and cakes for the time being.

Please bear with us and as soon as we can we will get back to our full service. Thank you

Dear all.

Exceptionally the Beachcomber will be closed between Monday 3rd June and Sunday 30th June this year.

The reason is a long story so I won’t bore you with it but we will just call it “Closed for staff refurbishments” I think.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused to all our loyal customers and we look forward to seeing you all when we reopen on 1st July.
