What an absolute pleasure it was to have Sir Ian Rankin with us today to talk about his new book ‘The Heights’. We don’t think that we have ever had so much laughter at an event before!

Ian was interviewed by local crime writer, Ed James, discussing everything from Rankin’s cameos in the the tv series of Rebus to the issues the arts are facing with the rise of AI.

Ottolenghi SIMPLE TOO by Yotam Ottolenghi and is our cookbook of the month. The amazing Nina has been cooking some very delicious dishes from it in the café this weekend.

🍊 We have enjoyed Chickpeas with Bharat and Orange, Roast Cauliflower Wedges with Romesco on Dressed-up Beans and Persian pea and Potato Soup. We have been well and truly spoiled! 🫛
