The Last Post
Some of my lovely cake followers know that I am moving to Spain in the very near future. I just wanted to send each and every one of you a massive thank you and a huge hug for trusting me with your celebratory cakes over the years.
You have challenged me in so many ways with your requests – from creating a replica of the Holy Church of Saint Marina in Corfu, a lathe, replica cars, animals, and cartoon characters that the kids have asked for that I’d never even heard of, to all manner of fondant toppers and floristry. You have truly pushed me to explore my creativity, develop my skills, and step well outside my comfort zone more times than I can count.
I’ve been honoured to be a small part of your birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, christenings, and “just because” celebrations. Every order, message, recommendation, and bit of support has meant the world to me, and I will always be incredibly grateful.
This isn’t goodbye to cake forever – just the end of this chapter. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the trust, and for allowing me to indulge a hobby I have genuinely loved.
