We would like to remind everyone that knitting in The Sandy requires a valid KNITTING PERMIT.
Permits can be obtained from behind the bar.
⚠️ KNITTING NEEDLE LICENCE REQUIREMENTS ⚠️
🧶 Maximum of 4 knitting needles per person.
🧶 No more than 3 balls of wool may be in your possession at any one time.
🧶 A paid licence is required for Green, Orange, Yellow, Pink and Purple wool.
🧶 All knitting equipment must be declared upon entering the premises.
🧶 Concealment of wool, needles or knitting patterns will be treated as intent to knit.
KNITTING PERMIT FEES
1-day permit: £7.30
8-day permit: £14.70
12-month standard licence: £36.80
Please note: KNITTING-FRIENDLY PUBS ARE AVAILABLE.
Anyone wishing to knit without the appropriate permit is politely advised to bu**er off. 🧶
Anyone found carrying out unauthorised knitting will have the Sandy Anti-Knitting Squad informed.
Repeat offenders may also have their needles seized.
