I’m very happy to share that I have received a 5🌟Food Hygiene Rating during inspection this morning 🤩

There is so much more that needs to happen behind the scenes to create the pretty cakes you see here and to ensure a high standard of quality and practices.

From ingredients sourcing and quality, cleaning systems, food laws and allergen controls, to name just a few, there are many different aspects of creating an edible product, so maintaining my 5🌟 food rating from previous inspections means a lot to me and for my business.

Home made white sourdough bread 🙌🏻

A labour of love & time, but definitely worth the long wait 😋

After the initial process of mixing everything together, I left the dough to proof overnight, then the following afternoon, I used a Dutch oven to bake it for approximately 40min.

The scoring worked really well on this design, so will certainly be making some more 😋 The smell is incredible!

Côtes du Rhône Village & Cheese selection Cake 🍷🧀 😋

Last week, I had the great pleasure of creating this stunning cake for a very special birthday celebration.

Everything you see here is edible, including the crate, cheese, etc.

It was so much fun making the difference cheeses and adding all the little details to the crackers so that they’d look as realistic as possible. I am really pleased with how it turned out.

This was a lemon sponge filled with lemon curd. I used a layer of white chocolate ganache all around the sponge to make sure the walls of the crate stayed in place. The wine bottle is also edible as it was filled with cake & buttercream 😋

Hope your Dad had a wonderful 80th birthday celebration. Not sure how easy it was to cut & portions this one, but I hope everyone enjoyed it 🎉
