We're launching our brand new menu at The Ship and we're throwing a little party to celebrate.

Join us from 5pm on Friday the 3rd of April for an evening of live music, delicious food, tasty drinks and friendly service. To get the night off to a great start, there'll be a complimentary welcome drink waiting for you on arrival, along with food tasters served throughout the evening so you can sample some of our exciting new dishes.

It's going to be a fantastic night and we'd be delighted to share it with you. We hope to see you there!

We’re setting sail on a new chapter for The Ship Inn.

This beautiful, historic pub, established in 1592, is now proudly independent once again.

Our vision is simple: a warm, welcoming and homely pub in the heart of Rye, serving great food, properly kept real ales, a thoughtful range of wines and spirits, and comfortable accommodation above.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be making considered changes as we get to know the team and our customers. Expect a refreshed beer range, new menus and a few thoughtful touches as we settle in.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to be part of The Ship’s next voyage.
