🐾 Players Beach – Simply cross the road towards the pier and you’ll find this peaceful, year-round dog-friendly beach. Perfect for a relaxing stroll, paddling , or catching one of Ryde’s spectacular sunsets.

🏖️ Appley Beach – Turn right and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Esplanade for just a few minutes to reach one of the Island’s most popular golden sandy beaches. Ideal for sunbathing, swimming, family days out, with cafés, a children’s playground and plenty of space to unwind.

🐾 Can I bring my dog? 🐶 It’s one of the questions we’re asked most often at reception… and the answer is yes! ( we have a few designated pet rooms) ❤️

We’re a hotel full of dog lovers, so we thought we’d share a few photos of some of our favourite four-legged guests. 🐾

To keep everyone comfortable, dogs stay in one of our special pet-friendly bedrooms, please contact us directly by phone or email to book.

Your furry friends are welcome in our communal areas too, including Harry’s Bar, our Coffee Lounge, and the sun terrace, whether you’re staying with us or simply popping in for a drink or bite to eat.

Just a few minutes’ walk from our front door you’ll find a year-round dog-friendly beach, with beautiful woodland walks stretching above the shoreline. Ryde is a fantastic destination for dogs, and if you’re exploring further afield, the Isle of Wight is packed with stunning countryside, coastal walks, dog-friendly pubs, cafés and attractions.
