⚠️ WARNING — ATTEMPTED THEFT AT THE BOAT INN ⚠️

At around 5am this morning, people scaled our fence and broke a lock in an attempt to remove items.

Luckily, our dogs were on high alert, and between them and us, we scared the intruders off.

Security lights and cameras didn’t appear to deter them. They were in a white 55 plate Vauxhall Vivaro-type van, and even after being disturbed, they appeared in no hurry to leave.

Please keep an eye on your property, check your locks and stay alert. If you were nearby around that time and saw anything, or have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, please let us know.

We’re angry that this happened again, but please keep yourselves safe and report anything suspicious.
