We're excited to announce that our very good friends from Salopian Brewery are back for a Tap Takeover Thursday 21st May and all through the weekend!

🍻We have 3 very special ales just for the Tap Takeover
🍻Plus 3 Seasonal Beers
🍻And our favourites from the Core range

We'll be putting on loaded hot cobs all weekend that pair brilliantly with a great pint of beer!

We also have our general knowledge quiz with Tarka Blowpig Quizzes on Sunday at 4pm!

We were surprised to see that when you had the choice of every brewery in the country for a Tap Takeover that our pals Salopian still came up on top even though we have them on the bar often❤️

Turns our good beer, good pubs and good friendship is the perfect combo!

There we're a few other breweries that have the same vote in 2nd place so we'll be looking into getting those in too later in the year 🤞

You absolutely rocked it yesterday Rugby 🤘

Thank you for keeping us busy all day and into the evening, for all the lovely compliments, and beer drinking. If you have any photos we would love to see them!

A massive shout out to our wonderful staff who like us are probably feeling a bit sore today! We couldn't do this without you! ❤️ and our lovely locals for grabbing bin bags and collecting paper pints 🥤

A big thank-you to everyone involved in putting Bikefest on its such a brilliant event for the town 🏍

SPITFIRE you we're amazing as always, its a pleasure to have you in here and all the wonderful people you bring with you, see you here next month! 😉

We're not stopping there though! We have something BIG planned for this Bank Holiday weekend! Especially for those ale drinkers!

We are recyclable ♻️ pint glasses until later this evening, so you can have a wander with them.

Then when the music stops on the stages we have the incredible Spitfire here from 4:30 giving you enough time to get a beer before they start 😍
