Weā€™re looking for a confident, outgoing Front of House team member to join Scran on weekends.

Hours:
Saturday & Sunday
8:45am to 2:30pm

This is a fantastic opportunity for a young person looking to gain experience in hospitality, customer service and working as part of a busy team.

Youā€™ll need to:
ā€¢ Be confident talking to customers
ā€¢ Be able to strike up a conversation with anyone naturally
ā€¢ Have a positive attitude
ā€¢ Be reliable and punctual
ā€¢ Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
ā€¢ Be comfortable appearing in social media content

No hospitality experience? Donā€™t worry. Full training can be provided for the right person with the right attitude.

Weā€™re looking for personality just as much as experience. If you can make customers feel welcome, have a laugh with people and create a great atmosphere, youā€™ll fit right in.

I meanā€¦so many things to unpack here šŸ˜…

1. You think Ā£18.95 for 2 medium full English breakfasts is expensive? šŸ˜³ crikey, donā€™t ever go up Stag or Wickersley sir šŸ˜‚. Were amazing value for money, all our customer tell us.

2. Our produce is some of the best around, itā€™s so so rare someone doesnā€™t like our food, we have a 80% returning customer rate, which is insane for a cafeā€¦ (this from our till data).

3. Iā€™m sure the cafe you mentioned is lovely, but I donā€™t need to ā€œsee how itā€™s doneā€ weā€™re already doing well, and have a loyal customer base who were very thankful for.

4. POSITIVITY Graham, be nice to people, did your parents never teach you if you donā€™t have something nice to say, donā€™t say anything at allā€¦thatā€™s what weā€™re all about at Scran, good vibes and great food. Weā€™re good people.

I read a lot of books, and a lot of success authors agree that you shouldnā€™t take advice from someone you wouldnā€™t change places with, so Iā€™ll not be taking yours sir, good day to you šŸ«”

13 year old Zac takes on the Scran Slamā€¦ absolute madness!!

Most grown adults struggle with this challenge in Herringthorpe, Rotherhamā€¦ meanwhile Zac stepped up at 13 years old ready to give it a proper go.

Massive breakfast. Timer running. Whole cafƩ watching.

Fair play to him as wellā€¦ he didnā€™t back down once.
