I did also bake another garlic, rosemary and cheddar but the whole thing was sold before it even came out of the oven😂🫠

35 PUNNETS OF FRESH LOCAL STRAWBERRIES SOLD THIS WEEKEND😱😱😱
Our poor strawberry man is probably sick of the same woman calling him every ten minutes begging for more strawberries (sorry Pete)😂And also what feels like 50,000 icecreams have been scooped since Friday🤣 let’s see if you can help us do the same again before the weekend🥰🫶🏻

The demolition crew (Liv, Vic, Ian, Charlie, Danielle and Anya) have been pretty busy wrecking the place🤭 we do promise we’ve put it all back in good order though😅 shop is open 9am tomorrow, I have a fresh batch of homemade focaccia proving slowly in the fridge overnight ready to be baked and put out tomorrow morning☺️

Still more to do in the shop but very good going considering it’s been business as usual in the cafe and a lot of late nights and B&Q trips💪🏼

Onto the next…Strawberry jam!🍓🍓🍓
Anxiously waiting until tomorrow morning to see if it’s set😰 let’s keep our fingers crossed that I just might have the knack for making jam😂 if all goes well then our strawberry jam will be available to buy and we will stop buying jam to go with our delicious homemade fruit scones and start using our own😋 all we need now is a dairy cow to make our own butter and cream to go with it😂🐄

We’ve been busy in the kitchen recently trialling some amazing home made bits and bobs and can gladly say that after of all the experimentation going on in our kitchen the focaccia is the only thing we’re happy with at the moment🤣 pop over and grab yourself some lovely fresh focaccia with the option of
~Jalapeño and cheddar
Or
~Rosemary, garlic and olive oil

Now onto the failures… if anybody has any tips on chutney I would be eternally grateful as would my poor grandparents that got force fed my first attempt and tried so hard to be nice🤣😭
Jam is the next experiment so keep your eyes peeled and pray for me🫶🏻
