Hello Autumn

A season of golden leaves, beautiful colours and peaceful walks with good company - when the weather permits that is!

At Realitea, we love to celebrate the simple joys Autumn can bring, and encourage you to take some space to enjoy the beauty around you, and embrace the season 🍁🍂
. . . And if the weather is against you? Well, then we invite you to call in for a cheeky slice of cake and cup of coffee — or tea of course 😊.

Perhaps we’ll see you soon?

A warm welcome to our new neighbours, Sprout & Crumb!

We’re delighted to welcome this lovely new addition to our local community — a lunchtime deli serving up fresh, healthy salads and tasty options to brighten up your lunch break.

Why not pop in, say hello and explore what they have to offer? Remember shopping totally locally really is the way to go.

We encourage everyone to keep supporting all our wonderful independent businesses. Help Ripon be vibrant, and our high street to thrive.

From all of us at Realitea, we wish Sprout & Crumb every success in their new venture 😊👍.

We’re honoured to have been invited to cater for a huge wedding for a delightful couple in York next month . . . .

This means we need to spend a couple of days beavering away, making, baking and prepping the wedding feast to make sure all goes well! The tea room will therefore be closed for a couple of days on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers for understanding. Until then we’re here with a warm welcome and friendly smile ready with all your favourites !

Our next Dhaba dining experience is fast approaching . . . .

The first event since returning from our trip to India is this Friday - the 23rd October. The good news is that there are still a few spaces left. If you wish to come along with friends or family and enjoy an evening of wholesome home-made food and good company then why not get in touch and book your table?

In the meantime we hope you have a great week.

We’re delighted to be part of this event - giving folk the chance to come along to a special coffee morning held in conjunction with Specsavers of Ripon. If you have concerns about dry eye issues or hearing problems why not pop along next Monday at 10.00 and have an informal chat with the friendly Specsavers staff over coffee and cake?

We’re getting ready to welcome you back 👍🏻

We’ve been busy bees here at Realitea today — working hard to get everything ready for reopening tomorrow after our little break.

And (of course) we’ve been making sure the cake cupboard is well stocked with plenty of delicious treats to tempt you.

We’ve missed you, and look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and welcoming you back to our little tearoom tomorrow 😊

All can be revealed…

Whilst Realitea is closed this week, I’m taking the opportunity to spend some precious time with much-loved family in India — and, of course, to explore some of the wonderful local markets here in Bangalore.

Who knows… I may even discover some new and exciting flavours to bring back home to Ripon!

I’m looking forward to seeing you all when Realitea reopens on Saturday 17th October.

See you soon!
