The Big Pig is on tour, which is why there is no pop-up this month. We are, however, gathering inspiration for next month's pop-up- The Big Pig on Tour in Italy!
Friday 28th August at Scorton Village Hall.

What fabulous people and what an excellent charity!

We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to Steve and his wife, the team behind The Big Pig Shindig, for their generous donation and delivery of freshly baked pies today to support our community feeding efforts.

After Steve reached out earlier this week, we learned about their brilliant approach to sustainability. Drawing on his background as a former chef, Steve was determined to eliminate food waste from their hog roast business, so together, he and his wife transform surplus meat into high-quality pies.

It was wonderful to connect with them today, discuss their business, and explore future collaborative ideas. Partnerships grounded in generosity and sustainability are what make our community thrive.

We're outside The Half Moon in Barton this afternoon from 5-8pm serving our fabulous hog with homemade coleslaw.
It's 10am now and this pig's been going for a couple of hours- only another seven to go...
