Visit Ribchester: The July 📍

There are some big events taking place this July, so mark your calendars. There's something for the whole family to enjoy right in the heart of Ribchester.

The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show
3 - 5th July 2026

This three-day event attracts visitors from across the north west! It's a great family day out with livestock, show jumping, shows, markets, a military village, and a circus.

It's an agricultural event, but everyone is welcome. Even your four-legged friends. There's plenty of parking and loads of things to see and do. Tickets are available now at an early bird price, so plan ahead!

The Roman Festival
11 - 12th July 2026

It's back for another year, and it's a great local event for Roman enthusiasts. Two re-enactment societies will be there so visitors can meet legionaries, cavalry, and Roman citizens face to face.

On show will be exciting military displays, including the firing of artillery, archery, and the Roman cavalry, along with colourful demonstrations of everyday life.

Tickets can be booked on the day, and the price includes entry to the museum.
