We feel it is important to address a disgusting and completely false post that has been circulated about Cornish Peri Peri.
Serious allegations have been made online about our business and staff, and we categorically state that these claims are 100% untrue, malicious and defamatory. These lies have been posted with the clear intention of damaging the reputation of our business, upsetting our staff and misleading the local community.
Let us be absolutely clear: Cornish Peri Peri strongly denies these allegations in full.
This matter has now been reported to the police, and a formal complaint has been made. We have preserved evidence of the posts, comments and accounts involved, and we will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities while they deal with the matter. We are also considering further action in relation to the false and harmful statements that have been published.
Cornish Peri Peri is a family business that serves the local community with pride. We work hard to provide a welcoming, respectful and safe environment for all of our customers, and we will not stay silent while false accusations are spread in an attempt to destroy trust that has been built honestly over time.
