~ The Lawsons ~
There’s something extra special about creating a wedding cake for friends, and oh myyy what a wedding this was!
Nick & Abi’s gorgeous marquee wedding was set on her family farm in Boscastle, surrounded by beautiful wildflowers, after the most lovely local church ceremony just down the road. The whole day was filled with so much love, laughter, happy tears and a hellish load of dancing!
For their cake, we went for a classic vintage Lambeth design, adorned with delicate buttercream frills and the prettiest pale blue velvet bows draping down each tier which matched the bridesmaid dresses.
Three delicious flavours to please everyone:
~ Lemon & Poppy Seed
~ Indulgent Chocolate
~ White Chocolate & Raspberry
The cake was saved for the following day, when everyone could enjoy a slice as the celebrations continued. Most people would probably feel a little nervous about cutting their own wedding cake, but as you can see from the last photo, there was absolutely no stopping Abi once the bride hat was on! 😂🔪
