Congratulations to all the Year 11 Students at the Blue Tangerine Cafe!

It's wonderful to hear about the progress and accomplishments they have made during their time at the cafe. Learning barista skills, latte art, and working on social skills through public events is a truly meritorious experience.

Now that the students have completed their training, they have reached an important milestone in their lives. At 16 years old, they now have the opportunity to return to the Blue Tangerine Cafe and work as paid employees. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to apply their newly acquired skills in a real work environment, further enhancing their self-esteem and confidence.

We are sure the students are excited about this new chapter in their lives, and it's evident that the Executive Head's vision to help them develop their skills and prepare for the future has been a successful one.

The Blue Tangerine Cafe has provided a valuable platform for these students to grow and build a solid foundation for their future endeavours.

A special mention, and heartfelt gratitude go to the parents and carers who have supported this project by allowing their children to participate in the events. Their support and encouragement have played a crucial role in the success of the students.

Once again, congratulations to all the students on completing their training, and best wishes to them as they embark on their new adventures.

The Blue Tangerine Cafe is proud of their achievement and looks forward to their continued success.

The Blue Tangerine Cafe had been invited to The Armed Forces Day this Saturday 24th of June

We're counting down to our annual Armed Forces Day event on Saturday 24 June!

Armed Forces Day is an opportunity to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces Community.

Starting at 11am in Gadebridge Park, there will be a variety of entertainment and activities on offer, including re-enactment groups, Mighty Smith (fifth in the World's Strongest Man competition), mobile rock climbing, obstacle courses, Little Nippers (agility dogs) and singer Eddie Cullen - The Voice of the Legends.

There will also be face painting and balloon modellers to keep even the youngest members of the family entertained.

There will be a range of charity, community and Windrush 75 stalls to explore, together with a variety of food and drink stalls, provided in partnership with Hemel Old Town Market.

On Saturday 24 June, you will be able to park free of charge at our Queensway Car Park. If you are driving to the event, please use this or other nearby car parks and avoid parking on the grass verges along Leighton Buzzard Road, as this can cause a hazard.
