The Rowbarge, has been serving the needs of travellers and locals alike for hundreds of years, but we re-opened the doors after a comprehensive refurbishment in 2012. The pub has been through a number of incarnations over the last 25 years, but it feels now like it has come back to its roots as a truly characterful traditional pub. There are six different rooms with nooks and crannies aplenty, six

different cask ales on tap, a decent wine list and a shelf crammed with malts. And most important of all, you’ll find a warm welcome from a friendly crew who’ll enjoy looking after you.

Father’s Day this Sunday, still some availability.

If you have a fantastic Father figure in your life then give them what they really want this Father’s Day, a Sunday Roast that they didn’t have to cook and a pint that they didn’t have to pay for!
We’ll be serving our usual Sunday Roasts, so you can expect all the favourites - traditional beef, pork and lamb, our ever-popular mixed roast, and a vegetarian option - each with crisp roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and plenty of rich, proper gravy.
Alongside, we’ll have a selection of our usual dishes available, so there’s something to suit every appetite. Families are very welcome, with a children’s menu offered throughout the day.
Food will be served from lunchtime through into the evening, so if earlier tables are full, you’re very welcome to join us later in the day.
We hope to see you there.

We're really excited to have Blue Beetle Ceramics at The Rowbarge for a pottery painting class on Wednesday 17th June from 7-10pm.

Blue Beetle Ceramics will bring along a selection of both functional and ornamental pottery to choose from to decorate on the night. There will be an array of pottery glazes, as well as an assortment of tools to aid your design. Once completed your pottery it will head back to their studio in Thatcham to be glazed and fired in the Kiln. It will be available for collection 1 week later.

Tickets are £20 per person and this will go towards your pottery selection. Please note, there will be some items that are more than £20 and the difference can be paid on the night

Tickets can be booked via the Blue Beetle Ceramics website.

If you’d like to join us for food beforehand you can book a table here. Please remember to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy your meal before the class begins.

Business as usual despite the level crossing being closed this weekend on station road. There is a diversion in place that is well signposted, directing you to us from the other side of station road via Wasing/Brampton. Your journey will take a little longer but what’s a few minutes between friends!
