Mama Sue's Dishing up bespoke loaded hotdogs made locally to our special recipe on fresh bakery rolls 😋 The result is robust and honest food that doesn't disappoint.

Specialising in the potent, heady mix of flavours from the deep South, Mama Sue's dishes up traditional recipes from the region with a twist, bringing zesty, pack-a-punch food to a market or festival (hopefully) near you. From chicken and chorizo jambalaya to pork and beans with cornbread, The Mama offers winter warmers or a taste of sunshine to suit the occasion. If you're unfamiliar with Creole

and Cajun cooking, it's definitely worth getting your teeth into. It originates from a rare blend of culinary backgrounds; Spanish, French and German styles mixed together with West Indian and Native American ingredients. Founder and Head Chef, Katie (not Sue) Simpson, has a varied and well-travelled 14 year history in the restaurant industry but, weary of fine dining, decided to strike out solo, with the food she loves to cook and eat. Alongside the main dishes, Mama Sue's also serves some great sides for the just a little bit peckish among you; spiced popcorn, honey and cinnamon pork scratchings and sweet and sour chickpeas. So, go on, you know what a hotdog tastes like, try something a bit different and fall in love with a whole new world of taste.

I bloody love a condiment so you'll not find any big bottles of wholesale sauces (you know the ones) at Mama Sue's.

Today's makes are: Black treacle barbecue sauce; find it on our Whole Hog with pulled pork
Sweet mustard on our Plain Jane and Oktoberfest
Pineapple chutney on out Club Tropicana with (also homemade) aioli 💥

Catch us this weekend on Friday and on Saturday 🌭
