Like the lockdown days.

So, the time has come to say goodbye to Franks. 🍔

We started at the beginning of Covid, after closing the doors to ‘Roots’ due to lockdown restrictions.

We (Matt and Nick) quickly realised that Rammy needed a decent gourmet burger shop, and we set to work. No corners cut- the best meat, homemade brioche and hand cut, proper fries. It worked, and it worked well. So well we even got a slot on BBC breakfast (remember that?!?)

So after a long hard thought, We’ve decided it’s time to go back to our roots, we’ve seen enough burgers for a little while… so we’ll be back open early November with a new concept! We’ve teamed up with Zip Coffee and Marrow, to bring you something that we think’s missing from Rammy… Think coffee, fire and w**e 👀…

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s helped make Franks what it is over the past six years… Littlewood Butchers, Birtwisltes Butchers, Chad Isherwood, Vic Graham potatoes and Thatchers Bakery (to name a few).

Also, a MASSIVE shout out to all the team- especially Chef Paul (we couldn’t have done any of it without him), and all the kids that have worked with us… they each started at Franks as mild mannered 15 years olds and left as gobsh*te 18 years olds (they know who they are 🤣!)

So it’s goodbye and thanks from Franks… and it’s see you very soon from Matt, Nick, Mac and Josh. X

Last orders Sunday 18th October- see you there 🍔
