The Bull Pen is a real gem located in the rural shopping village of Battlers Green Farm, a delightful timber clad courtyard of bespoke stores and a lovely farm shop situated on a real working farm of 200 acres. Originally the home of the Bull, hence its name, The Bull Pen is a delightful restau

rant. Traverse the stylish terrace of elegant heated parasols enclosed by glazed screens and planters of box hedging, enter the restaurant and you are welcomed into the warm and inviting space of subtle neutral décor, natural oak furniture, a beautiful brick fireplace and stunning vaulted timber ceiling. The greeting will be professional yet friendly, courteous yet relaxed and you will be shown to your table, presented with your menus and offered an exceptional range and standard of food freshly made to order.

😀 Exciting things are happening at The Bull Pen!

Since 1993, The Bull Pen has been at the heart of the farm, and we're thrilled to share that an exciting new chapter is underway.

With the recent arrival of our new Head Chef, Abbie, we're busy refining our menu and refreshing our interiors.

🪴 Our focus is simple: seasonal, flavour-packed dishes that comfort, delight, and celebrate the best of what The Bull Pen has always been. Expect enhanced favourites alongside some delicious new additions.

📣 As we work hard to bring this vision to life, we will need a short period of closure - The Bull Pen will be closed from Monday 29th June with plans to reopen on Thursday 16th July.

🙏 Thank you for your patience and support while we make these changes. We can't wait to welcome you back and share what's been cooking.

We'll keep you updated along the way, and Mary, our wonderful Front of House Manager, is always happy to answer any questions.
