A big thanks to everyone for your time giving comments and likes 👍
We’ve seen some good ideas like pre orders and payment for bigger orders then use a code .
Also possibly a vending machine.
As we know the vast majority of people are great but as we also know there is a minority that are 💩 people who would steal,vandalise , so several security cameras would be used some very visible and some not.
We would also have disclaimers visible that we can use video recording across social media platforms to show their neighbours and community if they wish to steal or damage property .
We would also keep topping stock up ,so keeping a low level of stock at any one time.
It would be great to make it work for our community so we will be looking into things seriously over the next few months and get back to you with a plan 😊

We’ve had an idea but would like your opinion 😊
Would being able to come and get beef from the farm 7 days a week using a honesty system with camera recording be something you would use as well as being able to come to the farm on a Saturday morning?
If you wouldn’t mind giving us a comment or a like so we can gauge if it’s a good idea or not.

Rainy day = preparation for sunny days😄
The better we can get the crops in summer, means the sheep and cows thrive better in winter .
So it’s important to be ready when the weather decides to be generous and gives us a few dry days together .
Hopefully we get a good summer soon as it’s going to be the longest day shortly,then we are heading back towards winter 🙈

It’s always good for any business to get good reviews about your product, but it feels even better when you have made the product from the very start to the end and literally years of planning feels great that we are improving the standards of quality of food and improving animal welfare.

What can we say but WOW😳
We had our offer on diced beef and wow we were blown away with how popular it was and sold out today.
We have new stock coming in this week and even more will be coming back later this month as another cow went yesterday 👍

How different the weather is this week 😳
The old saying goes.make hay while the sun shines and it’s so true,you really do have to take the opportunity because you don’t always get a second chance with the weather.
A very good friend told me over 20 years ago,if you’re going to make hay go for it guns blazing even if you need to mow in the rain and then change your mind to silage or haylage if it’s not going to work.
Never dither around wondering will it or won’t it otherwise you will miss your opportunity .
It’s been a fantastic bit of advice that’s served us well over the years 😊
It certainly tests you both physically and mentally but is also very rewarding when you look at the weather and see the grass undercover ready for winter feed👍
