We are a group of like-minded, fun-loving friends who are combining our skills in business, catering, teaching and pastoral care to use the joy of ice cream for the joy of freedom. We believe in, and are working for, a fairer world. Our vision is to create a community hub in
the centre of Poynton where all are welcome and can have fun, business is conducted fairly, friendships can be established and developed and those who were previously living under the control of others can find freedom. Only Fairtrade vanilla, chocolate and sugar is good enough for us and we only use natural, delicious ingredients in our ice creams and sorbets. We bank with the socially aware Co-op Bank and are working for a carbon neutral footprint to ensure we are trading as ethically and fairly as possible. We work hard to source our supplies and equipment from other social enterprises wherever we can to make doing business as fair as possible. And we have a whole lot of fun! We love to chat and always want you to tell us what you love and what we could do better. We believe that no one should be forced into slavery. We intend to be a voice for the voiceless, create community and friendship through providing employment, training and stability for survivors of modern slavery with a view to helping them become independent and meet their own needs.
