Dear Customer,

We like to advise you that you may have seen a post on Portsmouth Food Hygiene page that we received a 2.

On 7th April 2022 we had our inspection. We were very surprised that the inspector gave us 2 rating. My Team and I work very hard to maintain the cleanliness & the right practice of food handling in place for the safety of my customers.
The reason we got a 2 is because there was just a little food behind the cooker, few paint/ repair in the kitchen and we didn’t have *PEST CONTROL* in place. This is what let us down.
Yes my father (passed away 6 months back) use to look after that side of the business and it’s new to me and my brother. We did not realise about the pest control.

*• As you can below our food handling is good*

*• our management of food safety generally satisfactory *

I like to also inform you that the inspector came back on Monday 25th April 2022 and he was completely happy with all the requirements/ improvements needed he’s asked for.

We were told to apply for a revisit and that’s what we have done to reassure our customers we take our business seriously.

Hello everyone.
We would like to announce that from Monday 24th January we will be closing our restaurant every Monday. Although, we will be open on bank holidays and special events. Many thanks for your understanding and support.

We are open on Valentine’s Day usual hour
5pm to 11pm.
