Always happy to step in and save the day when I can! 🥰

After being let down by their previous caterer, I was asked to put together a good old-fashioned traditional buffet to help celebrate a lovely lady’s 40th birthday. 🎉🥳

Sometimes you just can’t beat the classics — plenty of tasty food, lots of choice and something for everyone! ❤️

And breathe…! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has kept me so wonderfully busy over the past five days. Platters, grazing tables and lots and lots of food have been flying out of the kitchen, and as always, I’m incredibly grateful for every single order and booking. 🥰

Now I’m taking a few days off… although apparently being “off” means catching up on paperwork, tackling the cleaning and hopefully squeezing in a bit of actual resting somewhere in between! 😂 The Perfect Party-Portsmouth

Two tables, two very different crowds! 🎉🥂
This weekend I had the pleasure of creating two grazing tables for two brothers’ birthday celebrations — one for the grown-ups and one especially for the little ones! 💙
For the adults, we went all out with a colourful mix of meats, cheeses, pastries, savoury bites, fresh fruit, dips and plenty of delicious things to pick at. 🧀🥐🍓
And then there was the kids’ grazing table… because apparently children need their own version of heaven! 😂🍭🥨🍓 From sweet treats and sandwiches to crisps, pastries, fruit and lots of fun little bites — there was definitely something for everyone!
I love creating tables that are completely tailored to the occasion, and this one was all about making sure both the big kids and little kids were well fed! ❤️
Happy birthday to two very lucky brothers — I hope you all had the best celebrations! 🎂🎉

Another busy weekend here at The Perfect Party! 🥂

Yesterday was all about the platters — catering for a wake and also an 80th birthday celebration. Sadly, no photos from either… sometimes you’re just too busy making the food to remember to take pictures! 😂

And today it was back to the grazing tables… two of them! One for a couple of birthday celebrations 🎂 and then a lovely grazing table to help celebrate a very special 40th wedding anniversary ❤️🥂

So… where have I been?! 👀😂

I know it’s been a little quiet over here, but I promise I haven’t disappeared!

I’ve spent the last 4 days feeding 3 large businesses with corporate lunches — which has meant A LOT of food, preparation, packing, delivering… and an absolutely ridiculous amount of washing up! 😂🥪🧀

By the time I’ve finished for the day, the last thing I’ve wanted to do is pick up my phone and write a Facebook post… 😴😂

So while I’ve been a bit quiet on social media, I’ve definitely not been quiet in the kitchen!

Huge thank you to all the businesses keeping me busy — I’m very grateful (even if my feet might have a slightly different opinion! 😂).

Back at the wonderful Square Tower in Old Portsmouth yesterday ❤️

This time we were there to create a bespoke grazing table for the bride and groom on their special day. 🥂💍

We absolutely loved putting this one together, with plenty of savoury treats, cheeses, meats, pastries, crackers and, of course, a few little extras to make it completely personal to them.

There aren’t quite as many photos as I’d normally take… but I think that’s a pretty good sign! 😂 The guests were very keen to start digging in! And honestly, who can blame them? 😋

It’s always such a pleasure creating something special for a wedding, and even more so in such a beautiful and historic setting.

Congratulations to the happy couple — wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! ❤️🥂
