Soooo...

The forecast says sunshine this Saturday, and quite frankly, we're choosing to believe it with every fibre of our being.

In what seems like a very sensible response, we're putting the Southwave's The Butler & FLX out on the decking from 6.30pm for one last little love letter to the summer.

There'll be cocktails
There'll be smash burgers
There'll be music loud enough to make you forget that you've thought about putting on your heating recently.

Even if you have absolutely no idea what you're doing, we're opening the mic up for a night of music, laughs and hopefully a few moments of "Bloody hell, they're actually good."

🎤 Spaces are limited and SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED.

If you want in, just hit us up on the socials or come and find us at the bar and get your name down.

Don't leave it until the last minute and then stand there dramatically telling everyone how you NEARLY performed.

He's off to start a cafe with his family and we wish him all the luck in the world.

We'll give him three weeks before he's googling "how to escape your own business" 😂

After becoming one of our most recognisable faces behind the bar Lawrence AKA Curly is off to join his family in starting their very own cafe.

We're gutted to lose him, but incredibly proud of everything he's done with us. So before we reluctantly let him go we're throwing him a proper leaving do.

So come and join us in giving him the biggest, loudest and most cheerful send off we possibly can.

Tomorrow night, the brilliant Rob Davis is back with his guitar and a cracking acoustic set.

The smash burgers will be doing their deliciously messy thing from 3-8pm.
The drinks will be flowing.
The cocktails will contain fruit, so technically they're healthy 😁

🍁🍂 AUTUMN HOURS UPDATE!!

As trade naturally becomes quieter heading into autumn and winter, we're making a few sensible tweaks. This will help us remain open for our wonderful local customers for as long as possible - which is far better than us sitting here alone, having meaningful conversations with the bar stools.

🕘 OPENING HOURS
Monday - Thursday: 11am-9pm
Friday - Sunday: 11am-11pm

🍔 FOOD SERVICE
Thursday - Monday: 3pm-8pm
Tuesday - Wednesday: No food service

Please note that we may close earlier on quiet Sunday evenings. If you're planning to visit later on a Sunday, it's always worth checking with us first.

There will be another seasonal update when winter properly rolls in, so keep an eye on our social pages to avoid arriving after closing time and pressing your sad little face against the window.

WHAT HAPPENED TO SUMMER?! ☔

Since the weather has apparently forgotten what month it is, we've created something special to help you cope: meet this week's cocktail special - The Mint Affogato. 🌿☕

Cool, creamy scoops of our Kelly's mint ice cream, drenched in a fresh shot of espresso, Tia Maria, vanilla vodka, then crowned with a glorious swirl of whipped cream.

Is it a cocktail? Is it a dessert? Is it emotional support in a glass? Yes.

Once again only available until Thursday 3rd September.

BEHOLD - The Crispy Tower.

A crispy chicken burger topped with golden hash browns, melty American cheese, fresh lettuce, fiery spicy mayo and smooth classic mayo.

Is it subtle? No.
Is it practical to eat elegantly? Also no.
Is it outrageously crispy, cheesy and delicious? Annoyingly, yes.

Our final summer burger special is available for ONE WEEK ONLY and will be gone after Thursday 3rd September - because all great romances must end before things get complicated.
