After pulling down a grease stained suspended ceiling and uncovering an inner ceiling with more holes than a North Somerset A-road, we’ve been hard at work patching everything up and building the new joists ready for a double layer of fire boards 🔨

Every step of the way we seem to uncover another snag, but one by one we’re overcoming the obstacles and your new Saucy Griller home is really starting to take shape 🙌🏼

It’s not always glamorous behind the scenes, but every late night and every challenge gets us one step closer to opening the doors to the grill & smokehouse this community deserves ❤️

🔑 WE’VE GOT THE KEYS! 🔑

After several weeks of paperwork, back and forth, and more emails than we care to count… we’re officially in possession of the keys to our new Saucy Griller home right here in Portishead! 🥩🔥

This is a huge moment for us. What started as a pop-up is now becoming a permanent restaurant… and not just any restaurant, but one we’re building for the community, with the community. ❤️

Now the real work begins. We’re rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck into transforming the space into somewhere we can all be proud of. Think great food, great vibes, and a place that feels like home.

Exciting news, everyone! We’ve got confirmation from the landlord of our future restaurant that the current tenant will vacate on April 3rd! We plan to sign the lease and get the keys by the end of that week—then the refurbishments begin! Saucy Griller is getting closer, so stay tuned for more delicious updates!
