🚨 DELIVERY UPDATE 🚨

Over the past week, we made the decision to trial Just Eat drivers to help ease the pressure on our own delivery service and improve delivery times for our customers.

Unfortunately, after giving the service a fair trial, we've found that the drivers have only been turning up when and if they want to, which has resulted in delays and poor service levels that simply aren't acceptable to us.

As a result, we have made the decision to cancel the use of Just Eat drivers and return to using our own dedicated delivery team. We are currently recruiting an additional driver to help us continue providing the reliable service our customers deserve.

We would like to sincerely apologise for any delays experienced this week. Please be assured that these issues were completely outside of our control, and we have acted quickly to put things right.

☀️ Due to the current heatwave, we have taken the decision to close tomorrow, Tuesday 26th May, and will reopen as normal on Wednesday.

After an absolutely incredible weekend and Bank Holiday, we feel it’s important to give our hardworking staff a well deserved chance to rest and recharge. ❤️

Anyone who works in a kitchen knows this heat is definitely no fun! 🔥🥵

After making it safely onto the docks in Port Talbot, Lee Andrews has now been spotted exactly where he needed to be… sat in The Docks Cafe enjoying a proper full English breakfast! 🍳🥓☕😂

⚠️ Sunday Roast Update ⚠️
Due to an unexpected supplier issue, unfortunately we have been unable to get pigs in blankets for today’s Sunday dinners 😔

All dinners will still be exactly the same as every other Sunday, with all your usual favourites included 🍽️🔥 — the only thing missing today will be the pigs in blankets.

We sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused and thank you all for your understanding and continued support ❤️

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – EARLY CLOSURE TODAY ⚠️

We’re really sorry to let everyone know that The Docks Café has had to close early today due to an issue with our kitchen lights.

We’ve got an electrician booked to attend this afternoon, and we’re hoping to have everything sorted as quickly as possible.

👉 Our plan is to be back open as normal tomorrow morning 🤞

Some of you will remember we closed recently as we took our son to start his journey with the British Army… well now he’s home on leave and settling into army life! 🎖️

🇬🇧IMPORTANT NOTICE–SUNDAY 8TH MARCH 🇬🇧

The Docks Café will be closed this Sunday (8th March).

This weekend is a huge and very proud moment for our family as we travel to Harrogate Army Camp to take our son as he begins his journey with the British Army, starting his training to become a Paratrooper. 🎖️💂‍♂️

Not every day you get to watch your child take the first step towards serving their country 🇬🇧 and we couldn’t be prouder as parents. ❤️
