NEW SERVICE: So today was the first day of our new service. Some people decide to have all the stress of preparing a buffet themselves but do not want the stress and time it takes to deliver and set up at the venue. We now offer a "Deliver & Set up" service. You can come and collect all the trays from us, prepare all your buffet food and bring it all back. We will then Use all our stands, lights, flowers ect, deliver and set up your buffet for you. This is one from today. The Bride & Groom prepared the buffet, dropped it to me and I did the rest so it was all ready at The Newtown Poole when they arrived after their wedding. I did notice there was no cheeses on this buffet and as I knew the Bride loves cheeses I did add a little cheese platter as a wedding present 🥰 This service is now available for any events, not just weddings. Price will depend on the size of the buffet and the area of the venue. A deposit will be required which will be refunded when all our trays, stands, lights, flowers ect are returned to us. 🥰🥰

YEARLY RANT: So as we have not stopped for months and months now I decided to book 2 weeks holiday starting from 3 days ago so i can enjoy a bit of time without anything to do with work going through my head. Buffet's are not just a case of preparing on the day and delivering...I spend days before the weekend ordering table wear, working out if I have everything I need then the food shops, preparing....sometimes 2 buffets at the same time so my head is always full of work even when I am not physically working..it is draining...The last 2 days of my time off to clear my head I have done nothing but make phone calls and drive to venue's to collect all our trays, stands, lights, flowers ect where they have just been left there. I make our Booking/Deposit/Payment terms as short as possible as I know how boring things like that can be to read but it is very clear in there that the deposit is held until everything has been cleaned and returned to the address on the form. If anyone but myself delivers please do not ask them about returning/collection as they will not know the answer as only I make it all very clear with the person who has booked the event. In chats it always comes up about how we do not collect unless it is pre arranged with me and me only but this is very rare. I always say I never expect it back the same day, following day or even a couple of days after an event...I prefer to think you have all had such a good time and have a hangover rather than worrying about getting my stuff back the day after a party so I could not be any fairer than I am. At one buffet a member of staff from the venue has told me she had to stop a lot of guests from walking out with food on them. This is not fair on the person who has paid the deposit as when guests take our trays the cost is deducted from the deposit to replace them so please always make sure your guests use plates and not our trays....I always make sure i supply double the amount of plates to the amount of guests I am catering for so there is no reason for them to take our trays. PLEASE PLEASE NOTE: If you book a buffet with us everything must be taken from the venue, cleaned and returned to us as per our terms and conditions. I spend a lot of money on pretty stands, flowers, lights ect to make sure you all have a beautiful and pretty buffet so please make sure it all comes back to us as I am now getting to the point where I feel all this stress is just not worth it...I am now off to another venue in the hope that all my stuff is there as the lady I spoke to on the phone said she was not sure how much of my stuff is left :( ...... On a happier note...one of our customers from last week returned everything yesterday with this lovely card and a bottle of something that will make me feel better later :) We really do appreciate gestures like this. I have kept every single card we have had from the past 11 years and quite often get them out and read them again...Finally...although I have booked 2 weeks off I know I will end up getting bored so if you have any last minute emergencies for buffets please feel free to message us.. :) :)
