Two years ago today, I took a leap of faith and jumped headfirst into a challenge that would change my life in ways I never imagined. THE PUB LIFE

What a journey it’s been! There have been tears, tough days, doubts, and moments when I’ve questioned myself more times than I can count. I can’t pretend it’s all been amazing because, honestly, it’s been HARD… SO HARD! 🥹

But amongst the challenges, there have been so many beautiful moments. From special birthdays and family celebrations to baby showers, christenings, wakes, and now even weddings, I’ve been lucky enough to help create memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

That’s why I keep going. Seeing people happy, bringing families together, and knowing The Carpenters Arms has been a small part of so many special memories makes it all worthwhile.

Being a single mum, I never imagined I’d be where I am today. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of myself for taking that chance and pushing through, even on the hardest days.

To everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and stood by me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to my staff, some who have moved on to better and bigger things and who have become so much more than staff — you’ve become family. ❤️ Without you, this place wouldn’t be what it is today. Family means everything to me, and you’ve helped make all this happen

Two years of hard work, tears, laughter, lessons, and memories I’ll treasure forever.

Thank you to every single person who has walked through our doors the last 6 months of being here alone and been part of this journey.

Here’s to many more memories, celebrations, and special moments to come. 🥂

We’re extremely busy this evening so please be mindful when not having a table booked with us that there maybe a small wait, we’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. It really does mean the world to us! 🥰

🌾 Giving Back to Our Local Community 🌾

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the Coed y Paen Church Harvest Festival to the Carpenters Arms and to play our small part in celebrating such a wonderful local tradition.

As a pub at the heart of our community, we wanted to give something back, so we’re really pleased to have donated 25% of the takings from the recent Harvest Festival back to the church. ❤️

It was a pleasure for our Landlady Charlotte and Chef Richard to hand over the donation to our local Vicar. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event, enjoyed some great food and drink, and helped make the evening such a success.

We’re proud to support our local community and the fantastic work carried out by Coed y Paen Church. Here’s to many more community gatherings at the Carpenters Arms! 🍂🌾
