🚨 HOUSE RULES - PLEASE READ 🚨
Hate having to do this but some people seem to forget things quite easily. To help us keep Drae’s Bar safe, enjoyable and running smoothly for everyone, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our house rules:
🍻 LAST ORDERS
On Fridays and Saturdays the bar closes at 2:00am. Last orders are called at 1:20am and we cannot legally serve alcohol after 1:30am.
If a member of staff tells you that service has ended, please respect their decision. We don’t make the licensing laws, we simply have to follow them.
🎵 MUSIC REQUESTS
The iPad is strictly for staff use only and must not be touched or operated by customers.
Music is controlled via the bar staff’s phone. If you’d like to hear a particular song, just ask behind the bar and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
🚭 DRINKS OUTSIDE
No open vessels (drinks) are permitted outside after 9:30pm.
🚪 WHEN THE BAR CLOSES
Please do not congregate outside the premises after closing time.
For the safety and consideration of our staff, neighbours and wider community, we ask that customers leave promptly, quietly and respectfully.
🔋 CHARGING PHONES & VAPES
We do not facilitate charging mobile phones, v**es or other devices behind the bar.
The Bandit gaming machine has a wireless charging plate available, and customers are welcome to bring their own chargers to use at available plug sockets where appropriate.
🧥 PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please keep coats, bags and personal belongings with you at all times.
We do not have the space to store customers’ belongings behind the bar and doing so creates safety issues and unnecessary delays for staff.
🍺 BAR ETIQUETTE
Once you have been served, please move away from the bar to allow the next customer to be served, particularly during busy periods.
🪪 CHALLENGE 25
If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, please bring valid photo ID with you.
If you cannot provide acceptable identification when requested, you will be refused service.
Anyone attempting to purchase alcohol for a person under 18, or for someone who has already been refused service due to failing to provide ID, will also be asked to leave the premises.
⛔ STAFF DECISIONS
Our staff are here to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit.
If a member of staff asks you to leave, please respect their decision. Failure to do so may result in you being barred from the premises.
