Such a great turn out and a good result for us to start off with, so thank you all so much for a great night👏🏼

GALA DAY BEER RACE🏃‍♂️
7pm start so get along early and get signed up folks! One of our favourite nights here at the murray and we love to see who gets involved each year!

We are also showing SCOTLAND V MOROCCO 11PM KO, this will be a great night again and we think it’ll top off a great Friday🎉

SATURDAY 20th JUNE
9PM we have Sandy Taylor playing live for us, been a wee while since we last had sandy in with us and we’re buzzing! Some great covers and a good vibe for everyone🎸🎷

SUNDAY 21st JUNE
A regular wee pub day for everyone before the gala madness begins, killer pool and great banter and of course our pub quiz at night, 7:30/8ish start! We are always looking for new people to join in and have a laugh. What better way to end the weekend? 🤔

Can finally announce we will be showing the game TONIGHT 2:00AM KO!!!

We’ve been accepted a late license to show the Scotland games and we couldn’t be happier. However certain rules must be followed for those wishing to watch the game at the murray bar-

-this is a ticketed event and anyone coming in after 1AM must be on the list and have paid. These tickets will be £2 to allow access and you will be given a ristband to show. There will not be physical tickets handed out, you will just have your name put down on a list. Whatever time you arrive please mention this to our staff and you will be given your wristband. Message this page, order at the bar or message me personally (Molly Chisholm) to reserve or buy tickets.

-NO glassware will be handed out to customers, this is another rule of which we must follow so plastic cups will be given to everyone, I’d like to mention a disclaimer to everyone if you can please respect the premises and our neighbours, don’t litter outside or inside the pub, any empty cups please put them on the bar, thank you!

-There will be a SIA officer on the door to ensure rules are met and being followed and to prevent any disturbances so please be aware of this and treat our officer with respect!

Massive thank you to Jordan Tierney for helping us sort somethings for this tonight and the next couple games going forward, he’s been a huge help and it’s massively appreciated!

What’s on this week at the murray bar?🧐

Tuesday 2nd June
We have our vaults as usual, starting around 7! Get along for some practise and a laugh with our other players🎯

Wednesday 3rd June
We have our free pool starting around 7pm also, our customers have always loved our free pool nights whilst enjoying a nice cold pint🎱

Thursday 4th June
Now for our second night of the vaults, our Thursdays are fantastic for numbers and always a great atmosphere!

Friday 5th June
As usual we have our free jukebox, we know everyone loves to come out and start their weekend off with some good tunes of their own choice and enjoy a chill night🎶

Saturday 6th June
It’s our annual country night🤠our singers will start at 9pm, bringing some country tunes and line dancing. The pub will have a makeover for the night and we’ll be in Texas! Bring your cowboy hats and dancing boots 🐴🕺🏻

Sunday 7th June
Our Sunday funday with our killer pool and good banter is a favourite for everyone, this Sunday we will be setting up a blind sweep for the World Cup, to explain to those that weren’t involved in this the last time, you pay £10 and pick an envelope, we’ll ask you to sign across the back of yours and it will be kept behind the bar in a secure place once they are all sold. The day of the final game we will ask everyone to open their envelopes. Cash prize will go towards our 4th,3rd,2nd and 1st winner 🏆

We’ve had AC in quite a few times and she’s never failed to impress so will be a great night welcoming her back with us after a great day with the darts🎯

Reminder that this is happening this Saturday folks!!! Absolutely buzzing for this to go ahead and have another fundraiser. We’re so pleased to be hosting this and raising funds for a great cause towards Polbeth Children's Galaday! Be interesting to see who our winner will be this time👀

And here it is!! Let’s make it massive guys🎯

Going ahead with our next date and we’ll be opening again at 11am to allow everyone in earlier for getting a seat and practising. We couldn’t be happier with the last two we’ve had so definitely going to make this even bigger

We would just like to thank everyone that came out on Saturday to watch the game, it was a tough day for all and well done to both teams. The atmosphere was great in here and it was so nice to see all our supporters shake hands at the end and everyone have a laugh together! A tense season has finally came to an end which was a relief in itself for many👏🏼

This weekend will be quiet with no plans in here except just a welcoming space for anyone wishing to come out and have a wee drink and a bit of fun. However next week it will be picking up…

Our gala fundraiser is next saturday (30th) so get along to that, we will be starting early and opening early to allow our players and customers get in for a seat and to get settled. We’re expecting this to be a busy day. Our dart fundraisers have always been a huge success so don’t miss out guys🎯

Saturday we will be showing CELTIC V HEARTS live from 12:30KO, and to top off what will be a fantastic day we have DIRTY BETTY from 9pm
Been a while since we’ve had this band in playing for us so get up and enjoy a brilliant night with them🎸🎶

Also a wee disclaimer, as of next Monday we will be opening at 12pm every day of the week during the summer!

So this weekend coming it’s a bit of a quiet one before we start getting busy next few weeks ahead👀

We will open at 11am for all our customers and supporters, and we will also be serving half time pies! should definitely be an interesting day in here so let’s make a great one and make the atmosphere fantastic👏🏼

Would like to make a wee friendly reminder to everyone about bonus balls. If you have numbers here at the murray then we ask you to please pay them on time. We understand we have customers that pay every week as they’re here enough to do so however if you know you won’t be around as much or have commitments then please pay ahead. It is not our job to remind and chase people for their money as it is your squares. If we have no word from you and there’s no payment towards any of your squares for more than 2 weeks, we will take you off the sheet to allow other people to play.

It causes a lot of stress and confusion to the customers too having to miss out on getting a square and also for us chasing people. We would just like everyone to please be considerate and keep on top of your squares as it is your responsibility, thank you
