⚠️WARNING TO BUSINESS OWNERS IN PLYMOUTH ⚠️
Unfortunately, this evening, an individual entered our restaurant pretending to ask for their water bottle to be refilled. While our staff were helping them, they stole our staff's tip jar and left the premises.
This was the hard-earned tips our customers gave our team, shared among our staff. It is incredibly disappointing to see the generosity of our customers and the efforts of our hardworking team taken in this way.
We have attached CCTV videos and photos of the individual.
If you recognise this person, please get in touch with us privately. We would be grateful for any information that may help.
We also understand that a similar incident may have recently taken place at Ocean City Coffee & Ice Cream. We therefore wanted to make other local cafés, restaurants and hospitality businesses aware and encourage everyone to remain vigilant.
These are already challenging times for the hospitality industry and incidents like this are deeply upsetting for the hardworking people affected.
